Material:
A collage of short stories by Robert Musil
with music from various artists (e.g. Mozart, Purcell, Mendelssohn, Mouskouri & The Righteous Brothers)

Pars pro toto? Some lone scenes tumble from a bag filled with memories. Glares from a life lived; aspiring to represent the whole, despite being a mere part. As such, the figures find themselves on a search for identity and they attempt to make sense of their own lives. Triggered by a memory, they reflect on Art and Kitsch, observe the exact and then gaze upon the entirety.
With these short narratives by Robert Musil an associative world opens up that reveals the fascinating in the ordinary.
